CLASS 1 – YOUTH LEADERSHIP

Lot No.

  1. Booklet listing projects and activities worked — with story about leadership responsibilities and what was accomplished in one project or activity — story must not exceed 200 words
  2. Poster (14″ x 22″) outlining project meeting taught
  3. Scrapbook with captions of club involved in an activity or activities that the exhibitor had a leadership role in
  4. Poster (14″ x 22″) outlining leadership abilities
  5. Poster (14″ x 22″) used for recruiting new 4-H members
  6. Leadership plan for assisting or teaching at a project meeting
  7. Leadership plan for club activity
  8. Learning game developed by exhibitor for use with project

 

CLASS 2 – COUNTY JUNIOR LEADERS

Lot No.

  1. Poster (14″ x 22″) promoting the Grant County Junior Leaders Association (recruitment poster)
  2. Poster (14″ x 22″) showing leadership in Grant County Junior Leaders activity
  3. Scrapbook with captions of Grant County Junior Leaders involved in an activity or activities that the exhibitor had a leadership role
  4. News release promoting the Grant County Junior Leaders Association
  5. Planning calendar showing involvement in Grant County Junior Leaders
  6. Display showing involvement at local, county, district and/or state levels

CLASS 3 – ORGANIZATION OFFICERS

Lot No.

  1. Presidents — Scrapbook of meetings’ agendas and report of leadership activities at meetings and other group functions
  2. Vice Presidents — Scrapbook of annual organization calendar and report of leadership roles assumed
  3. Secretaries — Secretary’s book of minutes, meeting agendas and attendance records (may include report of leadership activities)
  4. Treasurers — Annual budget, annual financial statement and/or other financial records (may include leadership activities)
  5. Reporters — Scrapbook of articles and pictures sent to local newspapers and corresponding newspaper clippings, include date and name of paper (may include leadership activities)
  6. Historians — Pages from club scrapbook historian is responsible for (may include report of leadership activities)
  7. Other Officers — Scrapbook and/or report of activities

 

CLASS 4 – FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS

Lot No.

  1. Scrapbook/report of activities, clearly identify activities that are part of school program and those which are outside of school program requirements

 

CLASS 5 – SELF-DETERMINED PROJECT

Lot No.

  1. Two entries may be made by member
  2. Include 3″ x 5″ card with the following information:
    • What was learned
    • Where idea for project originated
    • Story behind project
    • Time spent on project
  1. Exhibit illustrating activities and experiences in the Self-Determined project. Members grade 8 and under. Two entrie smay be made here.
  2. Exhibit illustrating activities and experiences in the Self-Determined project. Members grade 9 and over. Two entries may be made here.

 

CLASS 6 – SPECIAL EDUCATION SELF-DETERMINED PROJECT
Open to anyone in a special education program in school and requiring special help in developing their Self-Determined project.  (Cannot be a part of Junior Leadership Project.)

  2. Exhibit illustrating your activities and experiences in the Self-Determined project. Member grades 9 and over. Two entries may be made here.
